New/Old Trends in Technology?
As if to prove the thesis "History is Cyclical", there is a new trend that I happened to run across this morning, to make high-tech stuff look like it hails from the days of the industrial revolution - when the steam engine was king. The trend is called Steam Punk, and it's flipping awesome!
Check out this page for several examples. My personal favorite is the functional laptop complete with morse code input device. Sweet.
